Incorrect Exchange server name?

Hi,

Hope this is the right forum for this question...

Running Outlook 2000 on a Windows 2000 Server. When a new user logs locally
or remotely and tries to run OL she gets this message:

"The server containing the Global Address List is no longer available. You
can reconnect to a different server by restarting Outlook or retry the
operation when the server is reachable."

I hit OK and then get this message:

"The action could not be completed."

I hit OK and then get the Exchange Server configuration dialog box. This
dialog box has the wrong server name in the field for the name of the
Exchange Server. I can correct it here and it then gives a couple more
error messages and closes down OL. If I relaunch OL it comes up fine.

At this point, for most of my users, this is the end of it. OL works from
here on out as best I can tell. However, for my one user this doesn't
stick. Everytime she logs in she has to go through this same process.

So my question is, how can I change the name of the Exchange server on this
system so that OL gets setup correctly for new users? And, why is it that
the settings aren't saved for the one user between logins? Her local
profile is saved.

Thanks in advance for any help,
Linn
