I am using Access 2002. I have a receipt report that prints to a preprinted
form, so the total value for the receipts are printed on the page footer.
When there are multiple receipts to print there seems to be a bug in access
where it matches the page footer to the next page instead of the current
page. So every receipt has the receipt total value for the next receipt
except for the one on the last page which is correct. I can obtain the
correct value by putting a sum in the receipt footer or by selecting the
value from the source query which contains the total value in each record as
well as the line item amounts. I can get the correct value to print in any
part of the report except the page footer. I have tried using a sum in the
field in the footer, assigning it from hidden fields on other parts of the
report which contain the correct value, but the results is consistently
incorrect.
Has anyone come across this issue before, or have any suggestions as how to
solve it.
