Incorrect tracking response

After scheduling a new meeting request, we are receiving
incorrect responses under the tracking tab.
I sent a meeting request and received several acceptance
responses, but after checking the tracking tab, it
indicated that some of the users did not accept. We also
have an inconsistency in the time the meeting was
accepted or declined. The tracking would show that the
meeting was accepted days before the request was sent.
This tracking problem appears to be random. We have
several versions of Outlook running, and all including
Outlook 2002, appear to have a problem with tracking.
