Hi

I have just started to get this error when I try and connect to the P
with any user other than administrator (which still works fine).

Following a new install 10 days ago I have set up several accounts t
connect using their domain accounts. They worked fine. between the
and now another consultant has installed SQL server onto the sam
server. This is the only change that I know about.

Ideas anyone?

Thanks
Pau

You have to be a lot more specifc.

You had one server running MSPS and SQL on the same server and someone
reinstalled SQL on that server?

You had two servers, one with MSPS (IIS) and one with SQL and someone loaded
SQL on the MSPS unit, or reloaded SQL on the SQL server?

Assuming the other person didn't know what they were doing, meaning loading
SQL onto a box that already had SQL on it, the other person toasted your
setup. Did you use WIndows authentication or SQL Server Authentication. Did
you see if your service accounts (either Win or SQL) still connected?

If it's a WIndows Authenticated user, was the connection broken? (See
Security log). That will make things fail fast. Was MSProjectServer User
and MS ProjectUser wiped? You are the Admin, so you get rights and you see
things no other user sees, so you have to check everything with a dummy
login.

Again, since your problem is not specific enough, I can't tell you where
your problem is. Please restate and repost with a better description.
(Reason being, if I don't get to answering you, no one may, since there is an
answer posted to this.)
