incorrectly added word!

confused!

Version: v.X
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

My son inadvertantly added the Canadian spelling of colourful BUT added it with a capital C. Now it wants to change all of the interations of this word to the capitalized form..

How do I remove it from the dictionary?

User items are added to the Custom Dictionary, not the main Dictionary file.
You can edit the content of the Custom Dictionary by going to Word>
Preferences> Spelling & Grammar. If you need more direction from there see
Word Help on the subject ‹ it should provide all you need to know.
