Notes are displayed in the Notes column up to 255 characters or the first
carriage return. No way to change that.... the max length of a string
variable is 256.
To view more space, you can view Notes in the Task Information dialog where
you essentially have an rtf document window.
Someone posted the other day an idea to tie the Notes field to the right
side of the task bar on Gantt view. Format/Bar Styles... play in the text
pull tab at the bottom.
However, it still limits you to 256/first carriage return.
