Increasing Display Size

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

I can't figure out how to increase the display size in word. It used to be as simple as increasing the percentage but that is no longer there. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Are you referring to the Zoom command? If so it's definitely still "there" -
where are you looking?

A- View> Zoom
B- Standard Toolbar => Zoom Box
C- You can assign keyboard shortcuts to a variety of ViewZoom settings

Zoom can be set to anything from 10% - 500% in basically the same manner as
in previous versions. Can you be more specific about what is preventing you
from doing so?

It's there on my copy -- try opening the Formating Toolbar.

Thanks for your reply. I think I have a broader problem in that I am unable to get my toolbar to even show up. I am in page layout view I have standard toolbar ticked but the toolbar is nowhere to be found. I feel foolish but I'll be darned if I can figure it out. Any ideas?

At the right end of the document window's Title Bar there is a nondescript
"jellybean" - click it to display the toolbars docked in the window. BTW -
the toolbars docked in the window don't show at all if you don't have a doc
window open... another "feature" we'll have to learn to live with:)
