Increasing font size in the formula bar

Is there a way to increase the font size in the formula bar. The only way I can make formulae big enough to edit with my old and tired eyes is to increase the zoom in the worksheet view then edit the formulae in their cells. I'd rather edit them in the formula bar....

Yes, I could find no setting for it and I feared that would be the answer. I'll just have to wear glasses with higher magnification, I suppose.
