Incrementally revealed text blurred in slide show

I have PowerPoint 2007 and Windows XP. I have a table on a slide that I want
to have incrementally appear. I use the Animations>Custom Animation and
select Entrance and one of the options. On the regular slide the text is nice
and crisp. But on the slide show, when the table is revealed, the text is
blurred. How do I get a revealed table to have crisp text?

How are you making the table text appear incrementally??

You will probably see better results if you cover each part of the text with
a shape set to no line and the same colour as the table cell and animate
this to exit.

Thanks, John. I did what I think you suggested (Added a rectangle with no
fill and no border that covered the table and grouped them) but the slide
show still blurred the characters in the table.

Here is what I do. I have a range in Excel with text and numbers in it and I
copy it to the clipboard. When I copy using plain Paste, it appears like it
is still in an Excel mode, as I can edit the table, etc. However, PP puts in
extra row height on each row and I have to manually adjust each row height to
have it looking like it did when it was in Excel. When I animate this, it is
not blurred in the slide show.

To keep from having to manually adjust the row heights, instead of using
plain Paste, I use Paste Special, Picture (Enhanced Metafile) and it looks
exactly like it does in Excel. I think it copies it as an object, and it is
not editable. It has nice handles for resizing and that I can use either the
mouse or arrow keys for moving around. When I animate this, the characters
are blurred in the slide show, but not on the slide itself.

All animation is done by selecting the item and clicking Animations>Custom
Animation>Add Effect>Entrance and choosing Appear.

I want it to look like it does in Excel but without having to manually
adjust each row height.

By the way the same thing happens with a chart (e.g. pie chart). When I copy
it with plain Paste, the characters (e.g. legend) are not blurred, but when I
copy it with Paste Special, Picture (Enhance Metafile) the characters are
blurred.

Is there any way to solve my problem without having all the extra work of
adjusting the row heights?

Thanks.
