Indent Name not working

I have followed the three suggestions in the MS-Project Help under "my
outline buttons don't work" and the subtasks are still not indented. The
check box on Tools, Options, Indent Name is checked so too is Show Summary
Tasks. I haven't 'sort'ed nor 'group'ed the project. The one thing I did
was to Auto Filter, but i have been doing that for months/years and never had
this impact on my project. I have closed project and reopened it. I have
gone back and opend projects that I have not opened in months and the outline
is collapsed in these projects, so its something at the program level, not
project. Any thoughts?

Is this Project 2003 Standard? If so download and install SP3. SP1 fixed
this problem for Project Standard 2003.

Hello David,

Are you connected to an overhead projector or a docking station? There
have been several reported issues with odd display issues when laptops
are connected to overhead projection systems or docking stations.

If neither is true, is there something that has changed lately
corresponding to the change -- new software, new hardware?

What version of Project are you using and what service pack?

Project Professional 2003 SP2 [11.2.2005.1801.15]

Running on a laptop w/o connections to docking station or overhead projector.
Nothing new installed, as I say the only "new" thing I did to the project I
had open was AutoFilter and the symptom appears in every project plan I have.

I'm running Project Professional 2003 SP2 [11.2.2005.1801.15] but not
connected to the server.

Thanks for the update David. I though the problem was fixed with SP-1
(which you had installed with SP-2) -- but if SP-3 fixed it, so much the
better.
