Indents on bulleted and numbered lists

Hi,

the standard normal.dot template automatically indents all bulleted and
numbered lists, and to realign them with the left margin I have to click the
"decrease indent" button. I would like not to have to do this each time!
I've tried modifying the "list bullet" format in the template style, but
although this gives me a new entry in my style list, the formatting does not
transfer across to the bulleted list or numbered list buttons.

Can anyone advise me on changing the formatting carried out by these
buttons?

Hi Alan

Basically, you can't get full control over the bullets applied with the
buttons - you might change the format for your own machine for a few
sessions by editing the first pane of the list gallery, but it isn't
reliable and will fly apart if you send your documents elsewhere. You need
to use the styles, and apply using shortcut keys or customised buttons.
