I have a column chart showing a series of variances from budget, month by month. This is a single series. I have added a final column showing the net variance for the year and would like to display this in a different colour from the other columns - is this possible?

I am aware I can create a separate series for this single value, but then all the columns are off centre and do not look neat.

In summary -
in a column chart, how do I change the colour of one column in a series, without changing the others?

No Problem :)

Click one of the columns in the Data Series, then click once again on the
preferred column to isolate that Data Point. Control/Right-Click that same
column & select Format Data Point... to have your way with it.
