InDesign to Word

I have a client who has Word 2004.
I have the 2008 version and am trying to import her letterhead (created in InDesign) into Word so that she can drop copy from Word onto the page to email to clients…I am having the worst time getting it to work.
Looks fine in Print Preview on my end, but cuts off bottom copy on her end when printing…is this b/c of her older version?

HELP!

Word cannot import an InDesign (native .IDD) file directly - it doesn't matter which version of Word (or InDesign) that you or s/he is using. The two programs don't really reads each other's files (unless you've found some way I don't know about).

Exactly what kind of a file is it that you're importing into Word? Might it be a PDF file?

InDesign can export a PDF, and Word can import a PDF, but that's going to be treated as a picture in Word, not as text (so you can't edit it in Word). Is that OK?

Regardless of how you got the job done & passed on to the other individual a
probable cause of the problem is her printer's minimum margin requirement.
For a more definite reply you'll need to describe exactly what you've done,
how you did it and more specific details about what's happening on her
end... and what you mean by "drop copy from Word..." - the whole process is
probably quite clear to you, but nobody out here is able to see through your
eyes. All we can go on is what you describe for us.
