Index file missing

As a complete novice I used Publisher (2003) to make a web site. My original
web site was made with frontpage.
The new site looks good when opened with IE but when uploaded via FTP it
will now show up.
It seems an index file is missing. I cannot find anyway in Publisher to
create this and would welcome any advise

What is the link to the site?

When you publish to the web, by default a folder is created called
"index_files" and contains the necessary files for the web site to function.
Did you FTP the "index_files" folder and its contents?

What can I say but thanks
I assumed I could just save the Publisher file as HTML and put them on the
net.
I have now "published" to the net and as you suggest the Index folder was
there and it works.
Looks a little dull really but now I have an idea of how to do it I can
change it as I go along.
