Index formatting

Using the command to create index entries, when the fields are updated,
formatting is all over the map.
Some entries take the formatting (and any formatting changes made to the
style itself) while others revert to the font of the body text when F9 is
pressed.

Any reason for this?

Any direct formatting applied to an XE field will be propagated to the
index.
