INDEX Function?

I wish to create a series of DROP DOWN MENUS to input data into a spreadsheet.

ie. TV's (not the best example really).

In the first drop down box, I wish for the MAKES of TV to appear. ie, SONY
TOSHIBA, PHILIPS etc,

Then Once I've chosen my product make, I then wish to choose from a list of
the available products from that MAKE.

Hope this is making sense.

I have an example spreadsheet that works (it's example is televisions,
having a third box choosing, LCD/PLAZMA, and finally a forth box with the
size that you wish)

Is there any other function or way around this, without using the INDEX
function.

Seems like quite a lot of work for something that I see on websites everyday.

TIA for any help!

I don't understand why INDEX is a problem. This is the way applications
like this are built, and the intended use for INDEX.

It's not too much of a problem, I didn't know if there was any easier way of
doing it.
