Index.htm loses color when displayed

I am using Front Page 2000 and I have a 61 page web,
http://www.fansfantasygifts.com and several days ago the
Home page lost its background. I am using a Theme, loose-
gesture and every other page is OK but the Home page,
index.htm, has a white background. I have uninstalled
Front Page and reinstalled it and I have replaced all the
files in the Theme folders. BUT, I created a new web with
only 3 pages and used the same default Theme as in my big
one and the Home page worked fine. Then I looked at and
compared every file in both webs to see if there were any
differences and I found none. At wits end, can anyone
help.

Your html is broken
Missing a Body tag <body> after </head>
and a </body tag before </html>
