I have a small database with 124 records. I want to develop a form for
updating the records. It would be handy if I could jump to individual
letters of the alphabet to update records. For example, if I wanted to
update the record for a name that starts with the letter "D", I would click
on the letter D in the index and it would take me to the first record that
starts with that letter. Is there a way to do this in a form?

For an examle of how to do this:

1. Open the Northwind sample database that installed with Access.

2. Open the Customer Phone List form.
