Index - Number entries

The index I am creating includes entries as numbers (these are form
numbers, such as 25, 1015, 3000, etc). When I update the index the
numbers are listed under number entry. For example, 1000 will be under
the "1" heading, 3534 will be under the "3" heading, etc. I want to
put all the numbers together without any heading (for numbers only)
and below are the regular entries with its heading that begin with a,
b, c, etc. Is there a setting in the index where any entry as a number
will be placed together without the headings?

You could try making a specific main entry that is blank or perhaps contains
a space, then enter the numbers as sub-entries. You'd need to redo all the
XE fields for numbers, but you could experiment with a few first to see if
it works. The sort order, regrettably, will still be alphanumeric and not
numeric.
