I have inherited a webpage to maintain, but was not the creator. There are
two pages with the same info, index and home. Do I need to keep both? I
noticed some of the pages in the website are connected to home and some are
connected to index, which by the way is the home page when you go to the
website.
Here is the reason I am asking... I just imported a PDF file to both pages,
thank you to all who gave me tips to do that, (this is a newsletter for our
organization which is 10 pages long). When you open the webpage, the
newsletter is on the index which is actually the opening homepage. I know
it's confusing. The newsletter will not open. I get the screen "Page cannot
be found". Go to another page and come back, now you are on the home page
which has the same info as the index. You can open it right up from there.
How can I simplify this? Will it not open from the first opening page which
is the index, because it takes a few minutes to load? Can I delete one of
these pages without compromising the website?
Thank you so much for your time!
