Index sheet

Dear all
i have a quite big workbook with more than 20 small sheets. i woul like to
create a sheets which will work as an index page.
e.g i would like to hit on the name and the user go directly to the rigth
sheet.
There is anyway that i can do this by a formula or i have to use visual
basic?

Right-clicking the arrows left of the sheet tabs usually works for this.

You can certainly do this by formula. Check out the Hyperlink
command in XL Help.

For a macro that will build your index for you (but won't require
the macro to use the index), check out David McRitchie's BuildTOC
macro:
