Since Word's INDEX field can't produce hyperlinks by itself, you must
have added them later. Alas, whenever you update a field, all changes
after the last update are gone (or rather: you can only sensibly change
the field by field switches).
VBA solutions that do hyperlinked indexes are "out there", I'm sure
you'll find them when with google.
