I am comparing data from two different years to determine a variance. How the
document works is that 8 different workbooks are linked to this workbook
providing a summary of the different locations, divided monthly by tabs. I
have indexed each of the workbooks into this one summary workbook, where if
you change the day number, the data from all the other books will index the
data from that same date. My dilemma lies when I try to compare the 31st of
January the prior year to February 1st of this year, getting the data from
the same Thursday this year as last year. When I get to the 31st day of
January, the cell is unable to retrieve data that is located on a different
sheet within the workbook. Is there a formula I am able to add to the Index
where if I reach the end of the month, for the formula to automatically
retrieve data from another tab so the Days of the week will correlate?
