indexing in Microsoft Word 2000

I have just completed indexing a 600 page document using Microsoft 200. I
used a concordance file. When I inserted the index at the bottom of the page,
I only got pages ranging from about 1-10 although I have some of the names on
page 400 and 250. For example I may have "Sawyer, Tom" listed on pages 1,
200, 400, 500,
but when I run the index, I see "Sawyer, Tom, 1, 4, 6". Do you have any
suggestions?

Look at the INDEX field code (press Alt+F9). Does it include the \b switch?
