It is more than a month I have a problem with the indexing of the Outlook
elements which prevents to use the e-mail research function.
Practically, if I go on "Tools -> Immediate Research ->Indexing State", I
got the answer I have 5969 remaining elements in the “Mail Archive†… This
number changes only few units per day, but it never decreases. I tried to
force an index rebuilt and by this way I got some results: just after that
operation, I saw there was more than 10.000 mail to be indexed, but, when
this number is arrived at 5900, it stopped again…
I tried leaving the PC on power on so to work several days (my hope was the
PC started the indexing during the night with the CPU executing no tasks),
but nothing changed.
Do you have some ideas to manage that problem or can you tell me why it
occurs?
My Outlook version is the 2007 on a Windows VISTA PC.
