I'm running Outlook 2007 on XP Prof/Media 5.1 Pack 3. The "Indexing" feature
seems to run every day just when I need my computer. I have unclicked all of
the boxes under Tools > Options >Search > Index messages in these data files
- but, it continues to index. I'd like to close the indexing feature, or at
least be able to stop it when I need to work - or, can I schedule it to work
in the middle of the night?
I do have Google Desktop installed; if that's a conflict please let me know
and I'll remove it.
