Indexing

when i do an concordance file for the indexing of a
document. When I do the automark for the indexing it is
not placing the concordance file names everywhere inside
the document where it is listed. and also the page numbers
are wrong when I put the index at the end of the
document . Please help me this problem. I have been trying
to figure out this for a week. Thanks Janice

You'd probably be better off not trying to use a concordance file (see
http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/Numbering/CreateIndex.htm), but note that page
numbers will always be wrong in the index unless you hide the XE fields
(which are formatted as Hidden text) by pressing Ctrl+* or clicking the
Show/Hide ¶ button on the Standard toolbar.
