While opening Access 97, i get an error message "Operation
invalid without a current index". How can i find what the
index is?
Also in the database screen, when i click from tables to
queries or forms, i get a message "isnt an index in this
table. Look in the Indexes collection of the TableDef
object to determine the valid indes names".
My problem is, all my tables, queries and forms have been
deleted or hidden in the database screen, but they are
still working. Is this related to the "index" being lost
or any ideas?

These messages would normally mean that the database file has been
corrupted.

Try importing all of your tables into a new database.
