Indiana time to daylight savings time - appointments shifted one h

Indiana now observes Day Light savings time. MS did not change the Indiana
time zone so I started using Eastern Time. My clock is correct but all of my
appointments have been moved back an hour.

Make sure the Outlook Calendar setting matches the Windows setting.

check out posting below - appointments shifted by one hour about 20 further
down the list. Sounds like this could be a common problem for indiana

Won't help. That's not the problem.
Anyone who created their Outlook appointments while using the former
"Indiana East" TZ setting must now reset their appointment times. You can
either do so manually or export them all to Excel, change your OS/Outlook
time zone setting to the correct one (Eastern Daylight), then import them
back. The latter may not work for all appointments, however, since any All
Day events may need further adjustment to remove the "recurrence property"
they acquired when they were shifted to "1AM one day-1AM the next day" by
the change to DST.
Hoosiers should have changed their time zone settings last fall to "Eastern"
to avoid this problem. Unfortunately our politicians were still playing
football with this at that time and few of us would have gambled correctly
on the outcome back then.
