Indication of predecessor task completion.

In our scenario sequential tasks are assigned to different resources. Task B
can be started only after completion of task A. In such a scenario, how the
resource can understand, from the pool of tasks assigned to him, that a
particular task is pending with him, i.e, the predecessor is completed.

Assuming you are using Project Server 2007, the resource can navigate to the
My Tasks page in PWA and click the name of a task. On the Assignment
Details page, he can expand the Related Assignments section at the bottom of
the page. In this section, the resource can see any immediate Predecessor
tasks, who is assigned to the Predecessor task(s), and the progress on the
Predecessor task(s). Hope this helps.
