In Project Pro, an indicator Icon appearsin teh information column that
reads, "There has not yet been a response to the progress information request
on this task" What is this message a result of?

This indicator indicates that you (or someone else) selected one or more
tasks in the project and then clicked Collaborate - Request Progress
Information. Now that you (or someone else did this), the only ways to
clear the indicator are:

1. The team member(s) assigned to the task(s) must send an update on their
PWA timesheet for the task(s) in question
2. Roll back the progress information request using the following FAQ:

http://www.projectserverexperts.com/Shared Documents/RollBackProgressInformationRequest.htm

Hope this helps.

Thanks Dale.... in the project in question, almost every task had this icon
associated with it (which were many). By chance, would this result in a
"too many nested macro" error when going to close the project? To my
knowledge the PM did not place any macros in this project schedule.

I doubt that this would cause the nested macros problem, but why don't you
have the PM clear the indicators following the steps in the FAQ I
referenced, and then see if that resolves the macros problem? Also, the PM
should look and see if there are any unusual macros stored in this project
by clicking Tools - Macro - Macros. The only macros that should be listed
are the default macros that ship with the software, which are:

Format_Duration
ResMgmt_TaskEntry
Rollup_Formatting
Toggle_Read_Only
Update_File

If the PM finds anything else listed there, he/she select it and click the
Delete button. Hope this helps.
