Can someone explain to me why the indicator field in Project Pro is populated
with a check mark whena task is complete and in pwa the check mark does not
show and the indicator field is blank.

Thanks

If you are referring to the Project Details page in PWA, Project Server 2007
uses the Indicators field to show indicators for Risks, Issues, and
Documents attached to each task. Hope this helps.

Hi Dale I guess i am asking abotu both pwa 2003 and 2007. Since in both
versions project pro shows a check mark in the indicator field next to
completed tasks. I was wondering why that does not carry over into pwa for
either 2003 and 2007.I know i can make a custom enterprise field to do this
but if the indicator field could be use that would be better. I ask about
both because we are getting ready to go to 2007 and I am trying to resolve
some outstanding requests from users.

Thanks

Both versions of the software work the same way. When you click the name of
a project in the Project Center page, the system opens a Project Details
view of the project. The Indicators column in that View shows indicators
for Risks, Issues, and Documents. I do not know of any way to change this
default behavior and force the system to show the blue checkmark to signify
a completed task.

On the other hand, the View My Tasks page (2003) and the My Tasks page
(2007) show the blue checkmark when a task assignment is completed. Hope
this helps.
