Indirect/match formula - array

Would like to replace the above array formula with the formula below
using "indirect" where cell F1 contains the sheet name "PAYECalc" -
but get an error message

{=INDEX(INDIRECT(F$1&"!F$1:F$300",MATCH(1,(INDIRECT(F$1&"!$A$1:$A$300=
$A24")*
(INDIRECT(F$1&"!$C$1:$C$300=$C24"),0)))}

Could someone correct my alternative formula pls

Looks like misplaced quotes and parens. Try this:

=INDEX(INDIRECT(F$1&"!F$1:F$300"),
MATCH(1,(INDIRECT(F$1&"!$A$1:$A$300")=$A24)*
(INDIRECT(F$1&"!$C$1:$C$300")=$C24),0))
