Individual lists with link to project tasks

Hi,

im the administrator for a Project Server 2007 system and got a request for
setting up a customized list in Sharepoint with the possibility to link list
items to tasks in the project plan (like it is done for issues and risks). Is
that possible and if yes how could this be done?

Issues and Risks are the only lists that have this built in capability. Out
of the box, you cannot do this with custom list and the customization would
not be trivial.
