I have created several practice web sites in FP 2003 under a folder (my webs)
while
viewing reports I have run into a situation of all the webs sites files
listed together as one huge file with 4,012 links etc... ?-- How do I make
these individual web sites? Also what clarifies a page as a home page? (the
index file?) I have read online search for this info. but got confused ?

I am currently taking the online training for Creating a Web Site in
FrontPage-I answered my own questions except for making those pre-created
sites into individual web sites. I will go through the correct steps and copy
and paste, then delete the sites that are compiling into one site as
subsites. Thanks anyway !

To convert a folder into a web, open the website in FrontPage, right click
on the folder, choose "Convert to Web"
Do this for each of the folders holding your separate sites.

The home page for a web must be given the file name your hosts server
expects - usually (though not always) index.html on Unix servers, or
default.htm on Windows servers. Most (not all) will accept other names from
index.htm, index.html, default.htm, default.html, and the list goes on -
always best to check with your host, and name your home page accordingly.
