Individuals losing tasks from time sheets

I have a number of individuals for whom tasks do not show up on time sheets.
The tasks are published to the server and can bee seen through PWA in the
project views. The individuals get email indicating they have new tasks but
when they follow the link to the server .... the time sheets do not show the
new tasks. The time sheets are set to show "all tasks" and there are no
filters or other options set that would limit what is shown. There are no
errors in the project spooler and no errors in the server application log
.....
In some cases the tasks used to be visible and have now disappeared. Any one
else seen this?

Are the individuals who are having this problem also using Outlook to view
their tasks?

Ensure that the booking type is "committed" (and not "Proposed"). This is a
by project,by resource setting. In the affected project, view the Resource
Information sheet for the affected resource. It's under the General tab of
the Resource Information window.

We don't us outlook. we're a Lotus Notes shop. The problem is being causes by
resources being set to proposed rather than committed as pointed out in
Doug's reply further down in this thread.

BINGO!!! That fixed it. some of our resources are set to committed and some
are set to Proposed... now the question is why aren't they all one way or the
other??? However problem solved! Thanks!
