industrial design symbol

does anyone have an industrial design symbol they can send me? it's very
similar to a copyright symbol, except instead of the c in the copyright
symbol, it's a d

It all depends on how you access the news groups (news client, google
groups, microsoft website, ...).

Anyways, my reply was:

Do you mean a circled small letter d? If so, U+24D3 will do the job.

Or do you mean a circled capital letter D? If so, U+24B9 will do the job.

To enter a unicode character in Word, just type the number followed by
ALT+X. If that's not working, select the number you typed and press ALT+X.

Note that the ALT+X approach won't work on Word for Mac. You will have to
look in the symbol dialog there.
