Greetings. I have created a simple calculation in the control source field
of a subform (which sums up two other fields, i.e., Field 3: = [field 1] +
[field 2]). When I activate the form, the field will complete the
calculation, but enter into an infinite loop of recalculating, which ties
everything up.
I don't know if it matters, but the subform in question is linked externally
to another subform (to get around the limitation regarding number of
embedded subforms).
One other observation: I also occassionally run into a problem where, when I
move my cursor into one of the fields in the subform, it will "calculate"
and bump my cursor to the first field in that suborm. After that initial
undesired repositioning, I can however move the cursor to my originally
intended field, and there is no problem.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
