infinite pagination (again)

Did anyone figure out what to do about Word tripping into continuous
pagination. I have a lot of embedded figures in text boxes, and find I
cannot edit some sections between without triggering this infinite
pagination.

Any suggestions?

Hi Dan:

It's most likely a corrupt "object", probably a section break.

Saving the document as a "Web Page", close, re-open, and save back as a
document should cure it.

Cheers

John,
Thank you very much. That cured the problem, although I had to go back
restore the formating.

I looked around the original document and it does appear that a text
box anchor that was on the wrong side of a section break. When I
pulled that object out, the problem also went away as far as I can
tell. Careful management of where objects are placed is important.

Thanks again for the good suggestion and your time.
Dan
