Infinite Repagination

Not sure what caused the problem but I managed eliminate
the infinate repagination by saving the file as .rtf,
closing the file, opening the .rtf file, saving it as a
word file (.doc).
Incorporation of outstanding service packages had no
impact on the problem.

The usual cause is document corruption.

Well document corruption is where I started, however a lot
(at least 7 that I have checked)became corrupted on 7/23.
Two of these are updated pretty much daily. Others were
last updated in April. These documents do not "infinitly
paginate on my laptop which is also running Office 2000. I
am beginning to suspect Version 6 of the Adobe Acrobat
Reader of modifying (or updating a common file). This was
installed just prior to experiencing the problem. Have you
heard of any other problems with the new adobe reader. I
realize I am kind of grasping at straws here.
