i'm running a domain with a domain controller running samba 3.0.24 and
windows xp pro workstations. i'm having a number of problems that i've
posted questions about on various newsgroups including:
* not being able to change users permission levels (domain admins to domain
users) without causing they're start menu to become messed up,
* trying to install office xp so that any user can log onto any computer
without having to provide the office xp cd to install (which can't be done
anyway if they're a domain user)
i need some reference material to clear up all these nagging details to do
with operating in a domain environment. does anyone know where to get books
or other information for this? any help is greatly appreciated.
