Infopath 2003, Access 2003 and scripting (rich text boxes)

I am developing a sales call form in InfoPath 2003. This form was
linked to the appropriate table in the database. But, it wouldn't
allow me to add more than 50 characters in the "call comments" field
(since it was a regular text box).

So, in order to allow for more than 50 characters, I made a new form
which is unbounded. But I am new to scripting, and so I don't know how
to write a connection and query script to connect to and update the
database when someone clicks submit on the form.

Using Web services is not an option for me. Any help would be
appreciated.
