InfoPath 2003 / SharePoint 2007 using forms offline

Hi

I have an InfoPath 2003 form which has been working very well while it
has been published to a SharePoint 2003 form library. The form is
designed to work offline, as our users complete it out of the office

We recently moved to SharePoint 2007, but we are still running Office
2003. I have published the same form to the 2007 Fform library, and
everything works well when the users are in the office, however, when
they go offline they receive an error mesage when they try to open the
form:

"InfoPath cannot open the following file: Offlinetest2.xml
InfoPath cannot open the form. To fix this problem contact your
administrator.

Form template: https://portal.ema.compnayname.com/English/services/Test/Forms/template.xsn
Your user name or group membership cannot be verified because the
form's security settings do not permit it."

Has anyone seen this before? Do you have any ideas of how I can
resolve the issue?

Thanks
Darryl

Hi,

This error message will be displayed when we are trying to open the form
outside of the Corpnet. When on Corpnet the SharePoint site should
automatically be placed in the Local Intranet zone in Internet Explorer.
However, when accessing the SharePoint site outside of Corpnet the site may
need to be added to the Local Intranet zone. Follow below steps to add the
site in Local Intranet Zone.
1. Open IE page.
2. Go To Tools Internet options.
3. Select Security Tab.
4. Select “Local intranet†and select “Sites†button beside of the Local
intranet option.
5. Click on “Advanced†button.
6. Enter your site address and click on add.
7. Click on Close and Click on ok.
8. The website is now in your Local Intranet zone and you will notice that
the icon has changed in the lower right hand corner of Internet Explorer

Thanks for the advice. It seems like a possible cure. Unfortunately,
our IT departement has locked down IE so I can't test it.

Is this defintely the reason why we have this issue with SP2007 and
not with SP2003?

Thanks again.
Darryl
