Infopath 2003, Sharepoint and Browser

We have uploaded the form to a Sharepoint Document Library. When we access it
through the browser, there are multiple "Opening" Dialog boxes that flash
before it actually opens the form. Why does it do this? Is there any way to
get rid of them or hide them? Opening the same form locally pops up only one
opening dialog box.

Thanks.

Can you describe a bit more which dialogs you are referring to? That is, what
are the messages being shown?

There is just one dialog box that opens up multiple times. The title says
"Opening", then there are two yellow folders (same as when you copy files),
followed by "Opening: http://servername/foldername/filename.xsn"

This only happens when we open the file from the browser. The
dataconnetions in the xsn file include webservice connections that are
located on IIS.

The way you've described it, I think you're referring to a dialog box that is
inherent to the way SharePoint works. It's just a way to tell you that
SharePoint is busy opening the file for you. I do not think you can suppress
them. You could post your question in the SharePoint newsgroup, though, just
in case...
