Infopath 2007-can't cut/paste or drag/drop in design view

All of a sudden if I try to cut/paste or drag/drop text and/or controls in
design view it won't work. It will cut and disappear but will not reappear
with ctrl-v, or dropping it. We have repaired Office... that did nothing.
So we uninstalled and reinstall Office and still nothing. Another post
mentioned this but was using a virtual machine? This is on my work station
with XP and Office 2007. Any ideas because I am really confused here.

PS I can copy from Infopath and paste in Word and that works. I even opened
the form in design view on another machine to try it and it worked fine. I
also tried creating the form all over again on my computer and it still does
this.

No answers - but have had the same issue - especially with the InfoPath add
in for Visual Studio 2005. - It appears to be on the "Paste" side rather than
the "Copy" - I have had more success pasting into a Table - as long as the
whole cell is highlighted first.
This is a strange and very frustrating bug - would be glad to see a fix to
this!

Well I guess I didn't mention it but I was using a table and trying to
drag/paste from cell to cell. But your suggestion may have helped. It
actually started working all of a sudden shortly after my post. As I
mentioned I did reinstall Office. But directly after the reinstall it was
not fixed. It just all of a sudden started working. Wish I knew what
actually caused it to work again. I went like that for several months!
