Infopath 2007 - columns from the form to Sharepoint list - fieldtypes

Hi,
why some of the form fields promoted to sharepoint cannot be editable in
sharepoint list. I'm talking about integer field to number field, and
string field to multiline field.

Any help appreciated.

Hello

Some types of data cannot be converted when you change a column type. For
example, if you change a column with multiple lines of text into a number
column, the existing text data is lost.

What in case of situation that I have a form content type where I have a
column that must have been set read only throught Infopath publishing
and I cannot edit any of its settings? Another funny thing with that
column is that it does not appear in a column list when I add a content
type to the document library. Fortunately, this column definitely exists
bacause I can see it when I create a list view.
