Infopath 2007 & MOSS Lists with DIP

Heyko

Hi,
I'd like to have a dropdown-field and a textfield in a
document-information-panel.
From the dropdown the list comes from a sharepoint list. This works fine.
The text-field should display further information from the same recordset as
the chosen ID from the dropdown. I try and read a lot but the textpanel is
not willing to present the linked infos from the sharepoint list. I think the
problem here comes from there is no sql-like ID-association between textpanel
and dropdown-selection.
Is this way generally possible? Could someone maybe give me a hint?

best regards,
Heyko

Hello

Did you try using rules to Set the data to text box based on Your drop down
selection?

Hello Kalyan, yes I do so. I found the way to set the right association to
get the correct data displayed. For I try to bind this data within a Word
2007 document, there's a formatting issue with "currency" mode. I have a
sharepoint list from which I'd like to take the input from. But in the word
document (using quick parts) the formatting of the currency is always a
number like 10,000000000000 and not like 10,00 $ as in the list and in the
infopath form.

Do you know a way to change this property?
