Hi.
This question involves alot more then just infopath, but i can't seem to
find any information about this issue anywhere.
I've got a customer that needs a new solution for managing meeting requests.
Now they send emails to one person that manages everything manually, and they
want to automate.
They want to use an Infopath 2007 form in addition to the Outlook 2007
Meeting request form. I have made an Outlook 2007 add-in, that displays an
InfoPath form with the additional values. (Number of people, lunch
requirements, equipment spesifications etc). Now the problem presents itself.
How (if possible) do i get the infopath form to:
1) Get data (recurrence, subject, recipients (to field), body, scheduling)
from the outlook meeting request into the infopath form?
2) To submit the form to a SharePoint calendar list?
3) To connect the submit method of the infopath form to the "Send" button in
the outlook form
4) To retrieve data from the SharePoint list when users open up their
created meeting. (Store the InfoPath field values, so that they connect to
the outlook meeting request.)
Any and all help is much appreciated.
I'm using the latest VSTO and VS 2008 to build the outlook addin.
