Infopath and sharepoint services portal

Hi,

I have the following problem.

I have an infopath form and a sharepoint portal services portal with a
sharepoint list (database table of items). The list is big, and i only
want to show items where a column available is set to yes. So i
modified the list view to show only filtered list where available=yes.
It shows correctly when viewing list in sharepoint services website.

Infopath Form's data source is the sharepoint list. The form has a
dropdown whose data is the list. When I, in infopath, choose to fill
out a form, the dropdown is populated with the filtered list. All is
the way i want it to be.

This form i uploaded to sharepoint services website, but when trying to
fill this same form online through sharepoint services portal the
dropdown shows all items of list, not the filtered version.

Can anyone help? I really don't see what gives. :)

Rgs,

Tarik.

Not sure what's causing the discrepancy, but to get the list behaving equally
everywhere you can add the same filter you added in Sharepoint to the
drop-down list box by using the "Filter Data..." button on the "Select a
Field or Group" dialog box to set up the filter when you select the source
for the drop-down list box.

I have tried this already, can't set up a filter, because it tells me
this function is not available for web-enabled forms.

Thanks for replying.

Sorry. Didn't know you were using InfoPath 2007.

One should never lose hope. :) Unfortunately, I don't have an answer. It's
best to repost your question, so that it's more prominent for someone else to
notice and perhaps answer it.
