InfoPath cannot connect to the data source

I'm trying to learn InfoPath and am currently using the 'Connect a form to a
database' training course at Microsoft Office Online.

The data source is the Northwinds Access Database on my C drive (it's
supplied as a sample). When I try to run a query from a sample form in the
course I get this message:

InfoPath cannot connect to the data source.
Safety settings on this computer prohibit accessing a data source on another
domain.
